SASSA Will Take Expert Services to Fernie Neighborhood

Tuesday, August 27, 2024

The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently viewing the Fernie two Group Hall in Mpuluzi to render services into the community.

SASSA will be rendering providers for instance new social grant applications, change of payment method, customer care enquiries, in addition to the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In a press release, the agency explained it is alarmed with regards to the higher range of people counting on social grants for survival.
“The intention of your Integrated Registration Outreach sassa status Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to the superior range of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“This is a result of the lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there's no absolutely functional office dedicated to service the area regularly. The assistance position developed for intervention experiences a sassa superior inflow of potential beneficiaries, that makes it complicated for that office to attend to all people who pay a visit to a service point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise more means to help the servicing of all prospects and maximize use of Social Assistance expert services,” the agency said.
